The Board of Directors of International Wayside Gold Mines Ltd. (the Company) wish to report on the surface diamond drill program on the BC Vein portion of the Cariboo Gold Project at Wells, near Barkerville Historic Town in central British Columbia. 29 diamond drill holes have now been completed on the BC Vein with the 30th (BC99-18) in progress (see map). Assays results are pending on eight drill holes. 5 diamond drill holes BC99-10,11,12,14,15, have been completed from the setup 540 feet south of the BC Shaft. The drill holes were designed to test the BC Vein at 100-foot intervals along strike. On completion of the initial drill holes in this area and pending assay results, the drill rig was moved to the American Extension where 3 diamond drill holes were also completed (BC99-13,16,17) and assay results are also pending. A fill in drill hole has been started in the 120 foot gap between BC98-09 (20ft. of 12.94 g/t Au News Release 98-25) and BC99-08 (24ft. of 10g/t Au News Release 99-06) this will be achieved with drill hole BC99-18. The existence of this gap became apparent in the recently completed transit survey. Results of this hole are necessary before completing the mineral inventory for the section west of the BC Shaft. In addition a drill setup is being prepared south of the 19,000 easting grid line for drill holes BC99-19, 20,21 to follow up on drill hole BC98-02 where several intercepts had values of 8.44 g/t to 51.09 g/t Au (News Release 98-23) Work continues!
